Welcome to Valkyrie Plumbing. These Terms of Service outline the basis on which we provide our plumbing services. By booking or engaging with our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully and contact us if you have any questions.
1. WHO WE ARE
Valkyrie Plumbing is a female-run sole trader business operating across Greater London. We are committed to delivering high-quality, reliable plumbing services with a focus on professionalism, inclusivity, and care.

2. OUR SERVICES
We offer a broad range of residential and light commercial plumbing services, including:
• General plumbing repairs and maintenance
• Emergency call-outs
• Leak detection and repair
• Bathroom fitting and upgrades
• Pipework and drainage solutions
Availability is subject to technician capacity and location. We reserve the right to decline work that falls outside our expertise or operating area.
3. BOOKINGS AND CANCELLATIONS
• Bookings can be made via phone, email, or direct message through our official social channels.
• Once a booking is confirmed, you will receive a written confirmation with your scheduled time slot and Terms of Service Agreement.
• Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a £40 late cancellation fee, unless otherwise agreed.
• Missed appointments or failure to provide access at the agreed time may result in a call-out fee being charged.
• If you book services remotely, you may have the right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. By requesting immediate service, you agree to waive this right.
4. Pricing & Payment
• All services are billed hourly, based on the time spent on-site. We may provide estimated durations, but final charges reflect actual time worked.
• Hourly rates will be confirmed in writing at the time of booking. Emergency or out-of-hours call-outs may attract premium rates.
• Initial consultation visits are chargeable and must be agreed in advance. If you choose to proceed with recommended works, a rebate of 50% of the consultation fee will be applied to your next invoice.
• Quotes are valid for 7 calendar days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated
• For any project requiring parts or materials exceeding £250, an upfront deposit equal to the total cost of parts will be required before commencement of works.
• Final payment is due immediately upon completion of the visit, unless a prior written agreement has been made.
• Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, debit/credit card, or other pre-agreed methods.
• Late payments (beyond 7 calendar days) may incur a £10 administrative fee and may delay or prevent future bookings.
5. Guarantees & Liability
• We provide a 12-month workmanship guarantee on most repairs and installations, unless stated otherwise.
• This guarantee does not extend to faults resulting from misuse, third-party interference, general wear and tear, or failure to follow maintenance advice.
• Due to the nature of plumbing repair work—particularly involving older or varied-quality systems—we cannot guarantee that a first-time repair (“first fix”) will fully resolve the issue. We are not liable for recurring faults arising from the condition, age, or prior installation of existing systems or equipment.
• In the event of an issue post-service, clients must contact us within 7 days so we can investigate and, if necessary, arrange corrective work.
• Our total liability is limited to the value of the service provided. We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses of any kind.
6. Client Responsibilities
• Clients are responsible for ensuring safe and clear access to the property and work area.
• Any known hazards (e.g., asbestos, structural issues, or unsafe electrics) must be disclosed before our arrival.
• Pets and children should be kept clear of the work area for their own safety and the efficiency of the service.
• We rely on accurate information being provided at the time of booking to allocate sufficient time and resources.
7. Access & Emergency Visits
• In the case of emergency call-outs, prompt access to the affected area is essential. If access is delayed or restricted, we may reschedule or apply a waiting charge.
• We reserve the right to withdraw service if our staff feel unsafe or are subjected to any form of abuse, harassment, or discrimination.
8. privacy & data use
• We collect personal information (such as name, address, contact details) strictly for the purposes of booking, communication, and service delivery.
• We do not share your personal data with third parties unless required by law or with your explicit consent.

9. intellectual property
• All branding, logos, text, and content (including on our website, social media, and printed materials) are the intellectual property of Valkyrie Collective Ltd and may not be used or reproduced without prior written consent.
10. AMENDMENTS TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, pricing, or legal requirements. The most recent version will always be available upon request or on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
11. COMMUNITY SUPPORT AND REDUCED RATES
As part of our commitment to social responsibility, Valkyrie Plumbing operates the Valkyrie Community Projects Scheme — supporting local organisations and individuals in need.
• Not-for-profit organisations, charities, and community groups may be eligible for reduced service rates under this scheme.
• Individuals experiencing financial hardship may request access to flexible payment plans, which can be agreed on a case-by-case basis prior to the commencement of work.
• Eligibility for reduced rates or payment plans will be assessed discreetly and fairly. Proof of status may be requested where appropriate.
• Valkyrie Plumbing reserves the right to review or amend the terms of the scheme at any time.
